Description

The purpose of the project “Establishment of production lines for LED smart panels for decreasing emissions and smaller consumption of resources” is to produce an innovative series of LED modules and luminaires. The use of it and disposal into the waste flow, would promote reduction of emissions and lower consumption of resources. LLC VIZULO plans to establish Electronical and Metalworking Units within the framework of this Project to develop the following innovative and environmentally-friendly products in LED lighting industry: 1) LED module with integrated power supply, sensor, and luminaire control system; 2) LED module with integrated power supply and sensor; 3) Smart LED luminaire for offices and administrative buildings (1200 mmx300mm); 4) Smart LED luminaire for offices and administrative buildings (600mmx600mm); 5) Smart LED luminaire for offices and administrative buildings (600mmx 300mm). Project includes research activities and Publicity.

Summary of project results

"Vizulo" Ltd. is an LED luminaire production and sales company focusing on smart city concept development and specialising in territory, street, commercial, industrial and architectural LED lighting. The aim of the "Vizulo" Ltd.'s project funded under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism was to produce an innovative series of LED modules and luminaries. As a result of the project, "Vizulo" Ltd. purchased metalworking and electronics equipment thus starting production of 5 new products: 1) LED module with integrated power supply, sensor, and luminaire control system; 2) LED module with integrated power supply and sensor; 3) Smart LED luminaire for offices and administrative buildings (1200 mmx300mm; 4) 600mmx600mm; 5) 600mmx 300mm). These new type luminaries are more efficient than other widely available luminaries in the LED market. The main target markets for these products are the countries of the Baltic Sea Region, the Arab countries and New Zealand. It is expected that the implementation of the project will increase the company's performance, e.g. it is expected that the company's turnover will increase more than 3 times. The products developed as a result of this project will decrease environmental impact by reducing waste flow and electricity consumption. At the same time, the production of new products will reduce the use of plastic and metal components. It is expected that within 5 years 81,43 m3 polycarbonate and 51793,81 kg metal will be saved and CO2 emission reduced in amount of 5127,43 tons.
