Description
The aim of the project is to develop energy efficient communications system technology that is an energy efficient model of the fibre-optic transmission system and a set of technological solutions. The technology is a unique formation of several models of communications system, which will be able to increase data volume and speed as well as ensuring lower energy consumption. The technology can be used in modifying the existing models of the communications system, as well as building new communications systems. The target customers are owners, operators and designers of the communications. The target market is the Baltic States. The project will be developed within Green Technology incubator.
Summary of project results
Affoc Solutions is one of the start-up company in Latvia that has been supported by Norway grants. Affoc Solution implemented project in the energy efficiency sector by offering new solution for fast and safe transmission of information in communications systems. Nowadays business is in close interaction with telecommunications and IT services. Even more – business depends on the speed of the technologies and cost effectiveness. Affoc Solution now is able to offer to the market flexible solutions for business technologies that can ensure up to 30.96% energy saving and fast data transmission. The total Norway grant amount was 136 200 EUR, in addition the company was able to use support provided by Green Technology Incubator that also was established thanks to Norway Grant support
