Description
The aim of the project is to create a new type of personal vehicle specifically designed for urban mobility and industrial needs, which will become an integral part of the future “smart city”, a transformable electric scooter. The intention is to create vehicle that occupies little space 59x38x22.5 cm and weights just 12 kg, with energy consumption amounts to just EUR 0.28 per 100 km. The new type of vehicle will be developed within the Green Technology incubator.
Summary of project results
The Norway Grants in Latvia has supported development two types of innovative transformable electric scooters that are modern, compact, and transformable within 3 - 6 seconds. SIA “Electric Mobility” is one of the companies that have been supported by Norway Grants and evolved innovation within Green Technology Incubator. The aim of the project was to create new type personal vehicle specifically designed for urban mobility. In the result of the project innovative electrical scooters were developed in weight 12 kg, with special design, containing unique transformation and fixation mechanisms, innovative control solution and steering mechanisms, as well more effective electric drive system that includes the electric motor controller with and without wireless control solution, and effective electric recuperation braking system, battery pack and its monitoring system.
