Description
The aim of this project is to conduct research for my PhD. In Hungary, there are not so many books and articles available on the chosen topic, and there is no opportunity to improve my modern and old Icelandic language skills. For my field of study, the necessary manuscripts and articles are available in Iceland. It would also be good to discuss with well-known and acclaimed scholars. I would like to continue my research in the library of Árni Magnússon Institute, and attend seminars there. Firstly I would like to put stress on the language learning. Following this I would deal with articles written in Icelandic and other original sources. This will enable me to deal with my field more effectively and proceed to write my PhD, which will allow me to write and publish articles in international and Hungarian journals. The further goal of the partnership is the propagation of Scandinavian studies in Hungary with the help of Árni Magnússon Institute.
Summary of project results
The project helped the professional development of the student who studied abroad and also the supported the works of the lecturers who took part in the exchange program. The program was successful.
Summary of bilateral results
The cooperation has been established basically through the participants and it helped the establishment of bilateral cooperation of the participating institutions. Hopefully, this collaboration will continue. The partner institution contributed also to strengthen the cooperation.
