Description

The goal of the project is the promotion - based on self-help - of the lobbyist ability as well as societal involvement of disadvantaged parents living in the city of Komárom with the cooperation of civil organisations and state institutions. Through 14 months of workshops, actions, trainings, round-table discussions, collective planning, self-help clubs, an open day, as well as 2 publications, we will create a more inclusive institutional environment for disadvantaged parents, with a total of 51 actions including 152 persons. For the parents, we expect a participant increase of 30% in the self-help activities organised by the association. Through the community initiative, the parental communities will strengthen, their activity, creativity, inclination to start new activities will improve, as well as their ability to take responsibility. The local city, the leaders of the social institutions (3 institutions) and the civil organisations (3 institutions) will see a cooperation based on collective thinking, enabling the parents and their communities themselves to be involved.
