Description
Our goal is to roll back gender distinction in our youth organization (scout group), the local schools and community. We would like to help young, disadvantaged families and single parents in fields of work, social integration and resumption. We plan to work with the local civil organizations. Our target groups are members of our scout group (200 people), present and ex-students of 2 local schools, youth of the local community and the neighboring towns, young entrant women of our scout group and disadvantaged and single parents. Trainings, lifestyle courses, *win-win* programs, thematic youth drama camp, renovation of the home building of the program, will be conducted. The training program is organized by our scout group, local schools and civil organizations can stand as a model for other rural youth organizations.
Summary of project results
Abuse, discimination and exclusion of girls and young women, are current issues in local communities. After having a baby, loneliness and isolation makes it hard for women, to return to the word of every day work, and to break free from their difficult situation. The project's goal:to roll back gender distinction;to help young women, disadvantaged families and single parents in fields of work, social integration. The project included trainings, lifestyle courses,win-win programs, thematic youth dramacamp, renovation of the home building of the program.There were more than 50 events during the project. More than 700 women and children in need were reached, many of them personally explained how their situation changed in a positive way. Several social connections were formed during the project. This will help those women in need. They can find professional help much easier.
