Description
The project stems from Auditesa´s need to provide its customers with a comprehensive technically advanced energy management system which is not currently available on the market. The project is based on the collaboration of researches from several Investigation centers as the Technological Institute of Energy and Innova Estudi Soft. The objective of the project is to develop a monitoring and data centralization system focused on dynamic purchase of energy in Wholesale Market. The system is expandable and can be applied to different kinds of consumer installations. The incentive character of aid will improve and extend the activity of the company, with new business opportunities due to the knowledge gained in the project, building a tool focused on energy efficiency, cost reduction and conservation environment. The project is based on the importance of creating an effective and understandable communication throughout society regarding the importance of improving energy efficiency within the productive sectors, due to its socio-economic and environmental impact.
Summary of project results
The aim of the project “Platform for Improvement of Energy Efficiency”, PIEE, is to improve and increase the services that Auditesa is offering to them clients. As well as to provide tools that can improve the effectiveness, and sharing knowledge with technological centres and collaborators of this project. The proposed solution develops a remote control and management center, by monitoring facilities and with the possibility of detection of incidents or anomalies . The information obtained by monitoring platform is used as tool oriented to decision-making intelligent purchase of electricity on the wholesale market which is made by specific software to support purchase management. Having an application as it has been developed, it means for Auditesa have added value over the competition that will enable the company to offer its clients a comprehensive service of innovative energy management focused on improving energy efficiency and reducing costs and environmental impact.
