Description
The Children’s Room project is initiated in order to give support to the employees of TREV-2 group – parents and their children - during after school hours or during school holidays. Many children spend their after school hours at their parents’ offices waiting for the work day to end as public transport with its hectic schedules doesn’t support kids, especially primary school students, travelling alone without parental guidance. With the help of study-play room (Children’s Room) project we want to offer a sense of security for our employees as they do not have to worry about their children welfare during after school hours or to find quiet activities for their children in the office. In addition, this special study-play room reduces stress for the parents as they have less to worry about adjusting work and family related commitments. The Children’s Room project helps to increase the loyalty of employees through employer awareness of parental role and by giving support for combining those different roles employees need to play in their everyday lives. The study-play room is designed for school children only. The project team carried out a quick web based questionnaire within group employees and based on the results we are interested in conducting the project in three main offices: Tallinn, Rapla and Põlva.
