Summary of project results

From spring 2015 to early 2016, Open Republic was focusing on a project to more effectively involve its’ own members in internal work processes and to increase the competence of its’ volunteers. The main activities taking place during this project were: • thematic seminars that provided the opportunity to discuss different important topics in nowadays society with experts (different thematic seminars were held in Tartu and Narva. Main topics discussed were higher education and development of international relationship between Russia and Estonia/Europe) • inclusion activities – the main purpose of inclusion activities was to increase our members’ motivation and also to thank them for their effort; • trainings for Open Republic members – the main purpose was to increase cooperation and motivation skills as well as to increase the know-how about involving members of the NGO. Trainings were held in Narva-Jõesuu, Tartu and Tallinn. As we well use the knowledge we got from trainings in our organizations’ activities, the results will be sustained. Another important part of the project was updating our members list. The updated list helps us to contact and share information to our members more effectively.
