Description
The proposed project will establish bilateral cooperation on scientific research activities. The research topic will be: “Fish oocyte ageing and its effect on egg quality” as fish are model animals and the topic is quite young in case of higher vertebrates as well. For the purpose, scientists from both countries and PhD students from Czech Republic will travel to exchange their knowledge on the field, learn the new molecular biology techniques and perform the planned research works. The results of the experiments will be presented in international conferences and be published as joint research products in scientific peer reviewed journals with IF. The new topics will be created for future planned joint research works and projects.
Summary of project results
The proposed project established bilateral cooperation on scientific research activities. The research topic was “Fish oocyte ageing and its effect on egg quality” as fish are model animals and the topic is quite young in case of higher vertebrates as well. For the purpose, scientists from both countries and PhD students from Czech Republic visited partners institutes to exchange their knowledge on the field, learn the new molecular biology techniques and perform the planned research works. The results of the experiments were presented in international conferences and were published as a joint research products in scientific peer reviewed journals with IF. The new topics were created for future planned joint research works and projects.
Summary of bilateral results
NMBU project team was actively involved in all project activities except the Kick-off meeting of the project due to organizational issues of the project activities. Both project partners took part during the project proposal preparation. Both project partners actively take part at the program organized in the Czech Republic (presentations, visits, negotiations) and they all actively organized final meeting in Norway for the Czech project partners (USB) and discussed the future joint plans and projects (list of research topics).
