Description

Paleta Oucmanice is NGO which carry out environmental courses for schools in Pardubice region. More funds and qualified personal are needed to prevent regression of the organization; satisfy high demand of schools for 5-days courses; find space for innovation of our programs; include actual topics; increase quality and effectivity of educational activities, and to extend our activities to more target groups. The project will include: 2 environmental summer camps for families with children; 3 different weekends combining volunteering work, environmental education and experience for the youth 15+; series of 10 talks, lectures and workshops for broad public; innovation, developing and realization environmental courses for schools. Developing a manual for our pedagogical employees will increase quality of our programs, effectivity of work and will increase possibility of using part-time co-workers. Broader spectrum of target groups will stabilized organization and impact more people.

Summary of project results

Ekocentrum Paleta Oucmanice is NGO which carry out environmental courses for schools in Pardubice region. Our project was aimed at innovation, developement and realization of several-days´ environmental courses for schools. These courses address school children and comprises of educational programs/lessons focusing environment-friendly behaviour, sustainable development, studying of nature, personality development and interpersonal relationships. Such courses are not available anywhere else in Pardubice region. During a project, 27 of courses were realized, in total for more than 750 students, which is slightly higher number than planned. According to the project´s objective, one 5 days´ course on the topic of (bio)diversity for different age categories was developed newly, and 3 courses were reworked so as we could offer them also as a 3 days´ course, to make our courses available for broader range of schools. We also developed an internal manual of our educational programs, which comprises more than 60 particular programs. This manual will increase quality of our programs, effectiveness of work, and facilitates possibility of using part-time co-workers.
