Description
The purpose of the project is to increase integration of families with children with physical, mental and combined disabilities into the local communities. The field consultations will be also focused on the siblings of disabled children in thirty families. Meetings and education lectures will be organized. According to the high demand for early intervention services we will be able to support ten more families with disabled children. Another goal of the project is to create a new platform for providers of early intervention services in the Olomouc County, which will help to improve standards and sustainability of the services in general.
Summary of project results
The project responded to the needs of the CS families with disabled children and their siblings. The main objectives of the proposed project SPRP Olomouc was to support other families with children with physical, mental and multiple disabilities means of early intervention, which contributes to partially satisfy the demand of the target group for this service, there was also the expansion and improvement of services for families with these handicapped children simultaneously having a healthy siblings, thereby increasing the quality of services for the target group in 2016 in the Olomouc region, ensuring the sustainability of increasing cooperation between experts and the public administration.First, thanks to the implementation of the project was to meet the families who were on a waiting list for the service, and second was widespread service of providing advice and individual consultations siblings in the family, which the service market entirely lacking. Families can draw information from experts and then apply this method in the family. The benefit for CS has been and will in the future consolidation of sibling relationships and for other families who have not yet had the opportunity to use these activities to share with other families information on the methodology for sibling groups formed under the project. Another positive impact of the project is to prevent social isolation due to family get-togethers effected families, where they and future parents will have the opportunity these relationships and experience gradually to maintain and share experiences. Objective improve parenting skills in the form of advice through individual consultations in families is not fulfilled according to plan because there was a sickness in the family during the winter and so we replace individual consultations supervision, where counselors means of supervision handed responses from the psychologist's parents, who could not attend ind. consultation. The objectives were successfully met, with a tolerance of non fulfillment of the schedule for certain outputs.
