The project aims to create a platform – The Stock of Philanthropy - for cooperation among the public, private and non-profit sectors. It is a transfer of know-how from Pardubice region where The Stock of Philanthropy is organized by a non-profit umbrella organization KONEP with the support of the Pardubice Region. Stock of Philanthropy serves as a tool for cooperation among different sectors, thereby causing more transparent and easier exchange of services, products and support, which has resulted in the development of the region.
Summary of project results
Since the beginning of project, the key project activity was a training of GLE’s project team and a transfer of know-how to the Central Bohemia Region. The Project team created presentation materials for various target groups (stakeholders from public, private and NGO sectors). The Project team (KONEP’s members) also created Methods of the Stock of Philanthropy that works as a manual for realizing Stocks in new regions. There was also series of education seminars for NGOs. Another key activity was a pilot version of the Stock of Philanthropy in Benešov. This activity contained contacting of NGOs and representatives from public and private sectors for a participating in the Stock. After the pilot, the project team started to prepare a “real” Stock that was organized on March 9. Before the “real” Stock, contacting of new donors from public and private sector and also NGOs continued. Communication with “old” donors was based on getting a feedback for the idea of the Stock. Main results developed: Series of education seminars for NGOs; the Stock of Philanthropy in the Central Bohemia Region (+ pilot version); and Methods of the Stock of Philanthropy.The project was successful in boosting of cooperation among public, private and NGOs sectors. The main project’s outcome is successful transfer of the Stock from the Pardubice Region to the Central Bohemia Region. Thanks to the Stock, 5 NGOs projects were supported. After the end of an official project realization, based on the experience from the Pardubice Region, another ways of cooperation and transactions among sectors are expected.
