Description

Main activities of company are production and wholesale of electrical installations and lighting fixtures. The project envisages to develop highly innovative energy saving lightings with built-in LEDs (light emitting diods) which will be offered as a replacement to the widely used standard lighting systems in the enterprises. The new products will have a number of important advantages such as economy of energy, reduction of harmful emmisions, long life and a very good ratio of price per quality. This investment will have a very positive impact on the future development of the company. It will allow the company to design and start production of highly competitive innovative products and in this way to enlarge the number of customers, including new areas. The target groups for the new product will be industrial enterprises as well as public authorities which will be able to introduce in their premises and facilities highly efficient, energy saving, high qaulity modern lighting systems of innovative type.

Summary of project results

The project envisaged to develop highly innovative energy saving lightings with built-in LEDs (light emitting diodes) which would be offered as a replacement to the widely used standard lighting systems in the enterprises. The new products would have a number of important advantages such as economy of energy, reduction of harmful emissions, long life and a very good ratio of price per quality. The main objective of the project was developing, testing and production of innovative energy saving industrial lightings with built-in LEDs. This investment would have a very positive impact on the future development of ATRA-96 Ltd. It would allow the company to design and start production of highly competitive innovative products and in this way to enlarge the number of customers, including new areas. The benefits for the environment were expected to be that the investment would allow significant reduction of harmful emissions, such as carbon dioxide and other materials. The project results achieved were: - Innovative technology for industrial lighting fixtures developed; - Four new green products designed, developed and introduced into production; - Intellectual property rights received for the new articles. The project outcomes achieved were as follows: - Enlarged market for the Project Promoter; - Successful partnership within the specific area established; - Enriched and sustainable economic, financial and social development of the Promoter ensured. The partnership within this project lead to strengthening the bilateral relations by giving the three partners the chance to share knowledge and experience, as well as to participate in the design, testing and overview of real functioning of entirely new lighting products.

Summary of bilateral results

Within the whole project The Project Promoter has established successful cooperation with the two partners on the implementation of the project: The Norwegian partner ENSI and the Bulgarian partner Technical University in Gabrovo. There was an on-going communication and coordination of the project activities. In general, the partnership definitely supported and strengthened the bilateral relations by giving the three partners the chance to share knowledge and experience, as well as to participate in joint development of highly innovative products in the area of lighting.
