Summary of project results

The need for the project arose from one of the most important and urgent problems nowadays, namely growing aggressiveness among children and adolescents. Thus the main goal of the project was violence prevention among children at school and ensuring safe school environment. In addition, the project aimed at helping with the education and motivation of the school children from 4 schools, teaching them to share their problems and emotions, control their anger, think before they act and look for alternative solutions to their problems without any conflicts and aggression. 160 children aged 7-10 were actively involved in the project implementation. The children took part in the 16 open lessons and the competition for the best drawing. At the end of each lesson, the children expressed their joy from what they learnt and compassion towards each child that has been subject to bullying. Our participants realized how important this issue is, understood what they do to the others with their actions and words and started regarding the children around them in a different way.
