Description
The project addresses the difficulties faced by vulnerable groups of people in Popovo Municipality, Targovishte, in their interaction with the Bulgarian institutions. The project aims at helping vulnerable groups communicate with the institutions, learn to put forward their difficulties and react adequately in case of delayed administrative response. First, the applicant’s website will be developed. Second, an information campaign will be launched in 5 villages mainly with Roma population to promote the initiative among the Roma. Finally, information about specific problems will be collected and forwarded to the competent authorities. In addition, counseling will be provided to the vulnerable groups. The project will benefit the vulnerable groups in Popovo Municipality , the local authorities and the community in general.
Summary of project results
The project aimed at supporting people from the vulnerable groups in Popovo Municipality to communicate with the institutions, learn to define and explain their problems properly in the internet environment and acquire knowledge about how to respond properly to the failed or delayed administrative service violating their rights. The online platform created under the project
www.pravda-bg.eu helped the people from the vulnerable groups to receive consultations and information and their cases and questions were published. The information campaigns held helped the representatives of the vulnerable groups learn how to use the web platform and look for help and assistance from the project team. 92 cases were examined under the project and the citizens will continue to get help after the project end via the online platform
