Description
The project addresses the need of the applicant to build its organizational capacity to perform better its activities and be better recognized. First, the applicant’s website will be developed to disseminate information about the Foundation and its services, attract members, volunteers and donations and boost the applicant’s sustainability and development. Second, two team members will be trained and certified as European Project Consultants so that the Foundation will be effectively involved in social entrepreneurship. Third, a Facebook profile will be created to promote the applicant’s work. Finally, a logo of the Foundation will be created to ensure greater recognition. The project will benefit the applicant by enabling it to built its institutional capacity and provide better its services to the public. The project will also benefit the overall development of the NGO sector.
Summary of project results
The project addressed the need of the applicant to build its organisational capacity to perform better its activities and be better recognized. The objective was reached to a great extent. The impact can be seen in several directions: 1) several organisations asked for the project promoter’s support, one of them even for legal advice about a court registration, and both started writing projects with the purpose to build their organisations’ capacity; 2) the project promoter started building a strategic partnership with foreign organisations; 3) the project promoter is in a process of preparing an important project with ecological and social impact for people with mental health problems; 3) following the project, it started a successful dialogue with Sofia Municipality about the importance of starting community based social services for people with mental disabilities. The outcome of the project can be proved through the achieved recognizable corporate image, the website developed, the social network activity of the organization and the activities of its members. All planned outputs were reached. The project promoter developed a website with responsive design and mobile version in order to be easily reached through every internet device, a page in Facebook that will be updated on a regular basis, and it has have two members who have started different initiatives for developing the foundation's strategy and reaching its goals. As it was a capacity building project, the main beneficiary was the organisation of the project promoter. It has built a strategy to fill an important gap in the field of mental health community support. “We have made our first steps”, say the members of the team.
