This project aims to achieve local "sustainable development" - finding a balance between creating a more energy efficient environment, economic progress and social development. Performance of this investment is an important factor for sustainable local development in order to enhance the educational, social and economic integration in urban areas. Along with the above, we can highlight the following direct results of realization of the project activities: - Increased energy efficiency of local educational infrastructure through energy saving measures implemented in a municipal building; - Put into operation a modern equipment; - Reduced greenhouse gas emissions; - Energy savings as a result of measures implemented; - Modernization of municipal building with wide social and public significance; - Children and youth benefiting from improved municipal infrastructure; - Employees benefiting from improved municipal infrastructure. In the long term results of the successful implementation of the project will consist in establishing a sustainable and cost-effective public infrastructure in the municipality. This will contribute to improved, greener, healthier and sustainable social environment in the municipal center and create better living conditions for its population in the following areas: - Ensuring equal access to education for all children in the municipality and the region to attend childcare upgraded in the future; - Additional incentive for keeping young families in the municipality who receive opportunities to benefit from the improved infrastructure for receive of primary education; - Conversion of improved educational environment attracts people and families from the whole region; - Creation of additional conditions for the successful integration of representatives of vulnerable groups - children with disabilities, children from ethnic minorities, incl. Roma.
Summary of project results
The main goal of the project “Increasing the energy efficiency in the building of School "Nikola Y. Vaptsarov" had been achieved. The main result of the successful implementation of the project is the increased energy efficiency of the building of the Secondary School "Nikola Vaptsarov". Along with the above, the following direct results from the activities implemented in the project could be highlighted: - Increased energy efficiency of the local educational infrastructure through implemented energy saving measures in a municipal building with a wide social and social importance; - Modernized equipment – 2 pellet boilers; - Realized reconstruction of heating installation; - Reduced GHG emissions – 93.3 C02 t / year; - Energy savings as a result of the implemented measures - 297.90 MWh / year; - Modernization of municipal buildings with a wide social and social significance; - Improved environment for carrying out the education and training process in the municipality of Primorsko; - Children and young people benefiting from improved municipal infrastructure - 343 (students in "Vaptsarov" Secondary School); In the long run the results of the successful implementation of the project consist in creating a sustainable and cost-effective public infrastructure on the territory of the municipality. This contributes to an improved, ecologically oriented, healthy and sustainable social environment in the municipal center and creates better living conditions for its population in the following directions: - ensuring equal access to education by enabling all children on the territory of the municipality to visit the modernized school in the future; - an additional incentive to retain young families on the territory of the municipality who are given the opportunity to benefit from the improved infrastructure in which their children receive education; - turning the improved education environment into a center of attraction for young families and their children from across the region; - additional opportunities for active participation of all stakeholders in implementing policies to achieve a better energy-efficient environment; - creating additional conditions for successful integration of representatives of vulnerable social groups - children with disabilities, children from ethnic minorities, incl. the Roma.
