Description
The main objective of the project proposal is to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution in the heating of municipal buildings with a social focus in the municipality of Shumen. Specific measures to achieve this objective are: Installed capacity for heating of natural gas and internal heating installation at Kindergarten 25 "Brothers Grimm", Shumen. 2. Installed capacity for heating of natural gas and internal heating installation at Kindergarten 32 "Drujba", Shumen. 3. Installed capacity for heating of natural gas and internal heating installation at Nursery 11 "Trakijche", Shumen. 4. Reduction of СО2 emissions. 5. Reduce the cost of heating the sites in the project. 6. Improving energy efficiency.
Summary of project results
The project has been successfully completed, fulfilling all activities in full volume and time. The implementation of the activities has fully achieved the general and specific objectives. Only positive results have been generated with the implementation of the project, such as: • Installed power for natural gas heating and new internal heating installation in Kindergarten № 25 "Brothers Grimm", Shumen. • Installed power for heating of natural gas and new internal heating system in Kindergarten № 32 "Druzhba", Shumen. • Installed power for natural gas heating and a new internal heating installation in NR 11 "Thracian", Shumen. • Gasification of Kindergarten № 30 Cosmonaut - Branch, Shumen. • Gasification of Kindergarten № 34 Spring Spring, Shumen. All of the above mentioned actions have contributed to the achievement of the project's objectives - renewable sources of space heating, reduction of emissions into the environment (CO2) and significant savings through the introduction of modern high-efficiency heating systems. Expected increase in reduction and / or avoidance of CO2 emissions in tonnes / year - Reduced emissions of 141 tCO2/year. Expected increase of the energy saved in MWh/year - energy saved at 71,68 MWh/ year. It is envisaged that the installed facilities will be operated for at least 10 years, during which a visible effect of the reduction of the harmful emissions and significant saving in the heating of the objects in the present project will be established. Besides the direct effect of the implementation of the project, the Municipality of Shumen will disseminate among the target groups (the citizens of the municipality) the benefits of using heating systems using renewable energy sources. To achieve a multiplier effect, it is envisaged, in the presence of a resource, the introduction of similar systems in other public buildings in the municipality.
