Description
The purpose of this project proposal is to increase the capacity of Daris Ltd. for the production of pellets by investing in appropriate new equipment and machines. This objective fully consistent with the purpose of the grant invitation, namely - improving the capacity for production of fuels from biomass. The project meets the general objective of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014, helping to strengthen the bilateral partnership relations with donor states; the investment in renewable energy and energy saving measures will contribute to reducing the economic and social disparities in the EEA. As a result of the project is expected increased production of fuel from biomass. The capacity for the production of pellets will increase from 0.3 tonnes per hour to 1.8 tons per hour. The overall impact of the implementation of project activities is expressed in the reconstruction and improvement of the production line, which will lead to optimization of the production process, reducing the cost of production and cost.The project will help speed up production, increase sales and expand market positions, as well as to provide employment opportunities to create new jobs. The project is expected to contribute to the development of the potential for the company to implement an effective competitive activity, contribute to increasing the economic effect and to contribute to sustainable progress and growth by increasing the production capacity.
Summary of project results
The overall and specific objective has been achieved. As a result of the implementation of the project, positive results were generated. 13 new machines have been purchased under the project, a new production line for pellet production with a capacity of 1.5 t / hour has been installed and put into operation. The capacity of the enterprise to produce biomass fuel is increased. The new pellet line contributes to developing the company's potential for competitive and efficient business and helps to achieve sustainable progress by keeping and creating jobs as well as protecting the environment and preventing climate change by using renewable energy.
Summary of bilateral results
A partnership agreement with Norwegian Forestry Group SA has been signed, Working with the partner has proven to be beneficial for enhancing the enterprise's capacity, and established the basis for future cooperation. The established partnership relations will continue in the form of participation in other joint projects in the field of energy efficiency, forests or other measures of common interest.
