Description
The main objective of the project is to increase the production of pellets from biomass by improving the efficiency and increasing the production capacity of the company. The investment envisaged in the project is machinery and equipment that shall contribute to increase the production of pellets by 5808 tons per year. As a result of the implementation of the planned project investments the company aims to achieve a synergistic effect in several fields - increase the output capacity for the production of pellets, improve the efficiency production process, increase sales revenue, improve the market position on the EU market. Achieving this goal shall lead both to improve the competitiveness and profitability of the enterprise and to increase its contribution in the production of biomass fuels to reduce GHG and increase the share of RES in total energy consumption in Bulgaria. Sustainable results of enterprise performance in terms of: • Accomplished investment project in favour of private enterprise for the production of energy from RES • Sustainable contribution to preserve the environment of carbon dioxide emissions per annum • Introducing hi-tech equipment with a capacity of 1.5 tonnes of pellets from biomass per hour • Increase production capacity and productivity of the installation for the production of pellets from biomass from 0,250 to 1.5 t/hour • Achieve optimal technological operation conditions • Significant increase in the export potential of the company from 317 to 6000 tons, i.e. 18 times / contracts with distributors and traders from Greece / • Significant growth in revenues from sales of biomass pellets • Contribution to employment - creating 5 new additional jobs • Introduction of a new product - pellets for industrial boilers • Improve health and safety at work • Improve the management capacity of the company to organization and run projects funded by the EU, the EEA Financial Mechanism and other donors
Summary of project results
The successful implementation of the project contributed to the improvement of the competitiveness and profitability of Les Commerce EOOD, as well as increasing the enterprise's contribution to the production of biomass fuels, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the share of energy of RES in total energy consumption in Bulgaria. The successful implementation of the activities included in the project contributed to achieve the general and specific objectives of the project and lead to concrete, realistic and quantifiable results - increase of the total annual production of biomass fuels by 5808 tons. As a result of the introduction into operation of modern equipment for production of pellets was achieved sustainable contribution to environmental protection; Putting into operation high-tech equipment with a capacity of 1.5 tons of biomass pellets per hour.
