Description

The purpose of the Project is revitalisation of a renaissance synagogue in Zamosc in order to establish a tourist and cultural information centre, with the overall objective of preserving the cultural heritage along the 'Chassidic Route' and enhance cultural tourism. Reference is made to the application dated 6 April 2007, and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results concerning the synagogue in Zamosc: - demolition works, - construction works, - conservation works, - finishing works and arrangement of the surroundings, - project management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
