Description
The purpose of the Project is to improve information on and control of surface and ground water resources in the Malopolska Voivodship with the overall objective of improved protection of the environment as a result of better compliance with legal provisions. Reference is made to the application, dated 04 April 2007 and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed project shall include the following activities and results: - Purchase and installation of measurement and control equipment; - Implementation and validation of test methods; - Optimisation of the water monitoring networks; - Development and implementation of an IT system for acquisition, storing, processing and making available on-line environmental data; - Publicity and project management The Project Promoter is the Voivodship Inspectorate for Environmental Protection in Cracow. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs.
