Description
The purpose of the Project is to improve communication and quality in international cooperation, with the overall objective to increase the effectiveness of regional policy management and promote development in the Lower Silesia Voivodship in Poland. Reference is made to the application dated 13 August 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Provide language courses and other professional training for civil servants of the Marshal Office of Lower Silesia; - Create an internet platform for information sharing and set up a partner search data base including all project partners; - Organise meetings of the task force, conferences, seminars, summer schools and site visits abroad for training and knowledge sharing; - Participate in international trade fairs and promotion of the region; - Project management. The Project Promoter is the Lower Silesian Voivodship. The Project shall be implemented in partnership with the following five region partners: Alsace (France), Basque Province (Spain), West Midlands (UK), Emilia Romagna (Italy), Kirovograd Region (Ukraine) and Steiermark (Austria). The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lower Silesian Voivodship provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible project costs.
