Description
The purpose of the Project is the reduction of thermal energy consumption through thermal modernisation of three public buildings in the municipality of Walbrzych, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 9 January 2007 and the additional information provided by the Focal Point dated 28 March 2007 and 20 July 2007. The completed project shall include the following activities and results: - Thermal insulation of three school buildings: 1. School and Kindergarten building complex no. 2; 2. Public Primary School no. 22; 3. Public Primary School no. 28. The works will consist of: - thermal insulation of walls in all buildings except in the building of public primary school no. 28; - thermal insulation of ceiling in all buildings; - thermal insulation of roofs in all buildings except in the building of public primary school no. 28.; - replacement of windows' and doors’ woodwork in all buildings; - modernisation of the heating systems in all buildings; - modernisation of hot water system in the building of the primary school no. 22, - publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Walbrzych. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
