Description

The purpose of the Project is the reduction of thermal energy consumption through thermal modernization of eight public buildings of the Technical University of Radom, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 10 January 2007 and to the correspondence with the Focal Point dated 22 March 2007. The completed project shall include the following activities and results: Thermal insulation of eight public buildings of the Technical University of Radom: 1. University Hall of Residence No 1; 2. University Hall of Residence No 2; 3. University Hall of Residence No 3. and linking passage; 4. University Hall of Residence No 5; 5. Building of the Faculty of Transport; 6. Building of the Faculty of Teaching; 7. Teaching and administrative building; 8. Rector’s Office Building. The works will consist of: - thermo insulation of ceilings and roofs; - thermo insulation of walls; - replacement of windows in the buildings of the University Hall and Faculty of Transport; - replacement of doors in the buildings of the Faculty of Transport and Faculty of Teaching doors (woodwork); - modernisation of the central heating system, including installation of heating meters. The Project Promoter is the Casimir Pulaski Technical University of Radom. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
