Description
The purpose of the Project is to increase the energy efficiency of five public buildings in the Commune of Barcin by improving their thermal insulation properties, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 19 December 2006, and further correspondence with the Focal Point dated 16 April and 31 May 2007. The completed Project shall include the replacement of windows and doors, insulation of the facade walls and roof, and modernisation of the central heating system in the following five public utility buildings: 1. Office Building at 13 Lotników Street, Barcin; 2. Primary School No. 2 at 13 Artylerzystów Street, Barcin; 3. Nursery School No. 3 at 1 Artylerzystów Street, Barcin; 4. Sports and Entertainment Hall at 1 Wojciechowskiego Street, Barcin; 5. Nursery School No. 2 at 3 Artylerzystów Street, Barcin. The Project Promoter is the Commune of Barcin. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
