Description

The purpose of the Project is to increase the use of renewable energy by constructing a hydropower plant, with the overall objective of protecting the environment through reducing the emission of pollutants into the atmosphere. Reference is made to the application, dated 28 November 2005 and all subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Establishing an open ground inlet channel of 25 meters length; - Water intake and discharge with flow separation for three turbines; - Construction of a power plant unit with engine hall; - Construction open ground outlet channel (30 meters long); - Land surveying and preparation; - Management and publicity activities. The Project Promoter is the Regional Water Management Board (RZGW) in Gdansk. The Focal Point shall ensure that the State Treasury provides at least 50 percent of the estimated eligible Project costs.
