Description
The purpose of the Project is to improve the ecological education level in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship, with the overall objective of promoting the introduction of sustainable development in society. Reference is made to the application, dated 9 May 2006, and to correspondence with the Focal Point dated 6 October 2006, 23 February 2007 and 16 March 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - establishment of cooperation with counties, municipalities and schools in Kujawsko-Pomorskie; - selection and training of local coordinators; - preparation and issue of guide books, leaflets, posters and materials for training and instructions for education; - transfer of information; - making information available on an internet forum; - holding classes, workshops, and educational meetings; - organisation of projects; and - establishment of cooperation with ecological organisations active in Norway. The Project Promoter is the Municipality of Torun. The Project partner is the Ecological Association 'Tilia', which will carry out most of the management and implementation of the Project. The Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
