Description
The purpose of the Project is the creation of five integrated, open access playgrounds which are adapted to the needs of disabled children, and organisation of extra-curricular activities on the playgrounds in Bydgoszcz, with the overall objective of promoting healthy life-styles and integrating disabled children. Reference is made to the application, dated 18 May 2006 and to correspondence with the Focal Point dated 26 July 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - preparatory groundworks; - construction of five integrated and fully equipped playgrounds carried out by a contractor selected through a tendering procedure; - organisation of after-school, outdoor physical activity programmes; - promotion and publicity. The Project Promoter is the city of Bygdoszcz. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
