Description
The purpose of the Project is to equip classrooms in five regional Police College training centres, with the overall objective of ensuring high level of training of the officers of regional units of the Latvian State Police on the Schengen-related requirements. Reference is made to the application, dated 18 June 2007, and any correspondence through the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Purchase and installation of IT equipment for regional training centres (computers, scanners, cameras, printers, multimedia projectors, TV sets, electronic boards, UPS's and SWITCH'es, server, and other IT equipment); - Training of the personnel and teaching staff; - Project management (including publicity). The Project Promoter is the State Police of Latvia. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
