Description
The purpose of the Project is to renovate and equip the premises of the special education and socialization centre (SES) "Spring of Hope" and training staff in order to improve the services offered at the centre, with the overall objective of improving the quality of the child-care provided by the Visaginas Municipality. Reference is made to the application dated 2 August 2007 and all subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The Project will include the following activities and results; - Elaboration of the technical aspects of the project prior to the renovation; - renovation of the building; - purchase of relevant equipment; - staff training and; - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Visaginas Special Education and Socialization Centre "Spring of Hope". The Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Visaginas. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Lithuanian Government provides at least 21 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
