Description
The purpose of the Project is to increase the capacity to provide good quality diagnosis and rehabilitation services for children after injuries, operations, acute diseases, for children with ocular diseases and for disabled children at the Abromiškes Rehabilitation Hospital, with the overall objective to ensure provision of high quality medical services for children in Lithuania. Reference is made to the application, dated 1 August 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Reconstruction of the hospital's premises and installation of the ventilation system; - Construction of new elevator for disabled persons; - Furnishing of premises, purchase of medical equipment (physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy and psychotherapy) and of IT equipment; - Provision of training for parents and awareness raising activities; - Management, audit and publicity. The Project Promoter is the Public Institution Abromiškes Rehabilitation Hospital. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Municipality of Elektrenai provides at least 15 percent of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
