Description
The purpose of this Project is to establish a biogas plant, using the functioning facility to research more efficient methods for use of agro-waste for energy production, with the overall objective of developing and promoting biogas as a viable economic option for a renewable energy source in the region and Hungary. Reference is made to the application dated 7 November 2007 and to any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - preparation of the grounds for construction of the biogas plant; - construction of the facility; - procurement and installation of the machinery necessary for establishing the plant; - testing of the equipment and commissioning of the plant - management and publicity The Project Promoter is Agrowatt Environmental Service Public Company The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 53.46% of the total estimated eligible Project costs.
