Description

The purpose of the Project is to develop a functioning art therapy education system at the Kaagvere Special School, with the overall objective to enhance the socialisation and re-socialisation capacity of young offenders into the Estonian society. Reference is made to the application, dated 31 August 2006 and to the Focal Point correspondence, dated 2 August 2007, 9 and 19 September 2007 . The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - renovation of two cultural heritage buildings and the connecting stone wall; - staff training; - implementation and testing the art therapy workshops; - management and promotion. The Project Promoter is the Kaagvere Special School in Estonia. The Project shall be implemented in partnership with the Mäksa Parish Government, the Tartu Herbert Masingu School, the Tartu Maarja School and the University of Tallinn. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible costs.
