Description
The purpose of the Project is to establish Põltsamaa SOS Children's Village, and create living conditions for children with disabilities, with the overall objective of improving the environment for learning and development of children with special needs. Reference is made to the application, dated 15 June and subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point dated 28 August, 5 and 12 September, 24 and 31 October, 1 November, 5 November, 21November and 5 December 2007. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Construction of three SOS family type houses; - Procurement (to find a designer, a builder and construction supervision); - Design of three SOS family type houses; - Expert assessment of the Project; - Procurement for construction inspection and construction works; - Construction supervision; - Purchase of furniture and equipment; and - Project management and publicity. The Project Promoter is the ASBL SOS Children's Village Association of Estonia. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible Project cost.
