Description
The purpose of the Project is to refurbish the St. Martins church in the municipality of Bohusov, with the overall objective of conserving cultural heritage in the Czech Republic. Reference is made to the application, dated 15 November 2007, and any subsequent correspondence with the Focal Point. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - renovation works inside and outside the church building - renovation and installation of infrastructure (sewer system, drainage/ventilation shaft, electricity- and security systems); - renovation of the belfry and installation of new church bells; - repair of wooden spiral staircase, wooden pews and confession booth; - renovation of cemetery wall, tomb stones, and iron gate; - creation of museum exposition with collection of archaeological discoveries; - renovation of the pipe organ; and - project management and publicity including public procurement The Project Promoter is the Bohusov Municipality. Subject to national law, the Project shall be implemented in partnership with the 'Roman Catholic Parish of Bohusov' and the 'Monumenti o.p.s'. The Focal Point shall ensure that the Project Promoter provides at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project costs.
