Description

The purpose of the Project is to provide web access to land-use planning documentation (master plans) and transfer them to the municipalities, with the overall objective of increasing the efficiency of self-government services (at both the regional and municipal levels) by providing online background information for decision making. Reference is made to the application, dated 1 March 2006, as well as additional information received on 15 November 2006. The completed Project shall include the following activities and results: - Make planning documentation (such as master plans/land-use plans and related binding regulations covering the territory of the Moravian- Silesian region) accessible to the public on the Region’s web page; - Development of a database and creation of data warehouses for raster images of master plans; - Digitalizing and uploading into a specific database developed within the project existing documents held by the region or its municipalities; - Purchasing of a scanner for raster images of master plans to ensure the continuous operation of the above database. The Project Promoter is the Authority of Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. The Project Promoter shall provide at least 15 percent of the estimated eligible project cost.
