Description
In the present young people don’t have enough information about the border countries especially Ukraine. And this gives condition for emergence racism and violence. The one way how to decrease intolerance and nationalism among the young people is to explore culture habits of the people in the other countries. The best way is to create straight relationship among young people. The main objective of the proposed project is to ensure increasing of the awareness about situation and life at the cross border areas. It has to be done at the base of just existing cooperation of institutions. Outcome: Improving and increasing of the cross border flow of information. Outputs: development of 8 media videos created by young people (1 video -10 minutes)and publishing them at youtube and all partners websides:- creation of brochures best practises, - organization of workshop and final conferences. Target groups:Students, Young people, public, NGOs. Partners will do all activities of the project , exchange experiences and giving the change to know the cross-border countries. Partnership achieve: Creation of wider network of cooperation institution and improving of dissemination of information among young people by publication of project outputs.
Summary of project results
The main objective of the project was to raise awareness of the situation on both sides of the border. The outputs were disseminated on the border regions of Slovakia and Ukraine, on culture, history, life. The realization of the project achieved the goal. The project's outputs were 8 media videos on history, culture and life in Slovakia and Ukraine. Four Slovakian videos and four Ukrainian videos. Another output was the project website
www.usom.sk, on which these videos are published. For the main beneficiary, the change was mainly the acquisition of long-term cross-border partners and active cooperation.
