Based on past experience, we defined the biggest lack hindering the sustainable development of the local region. One of them is the absence of cooperation with Ukrainian partner across the border. We are at the stage when we need to build new perspective partnerships. We decided to strengthen the area of integration, which shows great parameters of potential. Objective of project: To reduce existing barrier of cross-border cooperation. Outcome/Outputs: Creating new and supporting existing partnerships. Building an amphitheatre and modernization of the football field, Organizing of cross-border meetings, Successful implementation and guarantee of sustainability. All groups that have previously not participated on cross-border cooperation with Ukrainian partner. Especially young people, unemployed people, entrepreneurs and minorities. Indirect target groups are pupils and students in schools, socially-cultural institutions and informal associations of citizens. Generate new topics for future cooperation. Multiplier effect due to the horizontal extension of expert areas of mutual cooperation. Participation in joint development projects. Signing of new business contracts. Build a wider platform for collaboration of non-profit organizations. Knowledge transfers. Common protection of cultural and historical heritage. Creation and protection of the enviroment. Implementation of activities to reducing unemployment.
Summary of project results
One of the identified problems related to the sustainable development of the region was the absence of cooperation with the Ukrainian border region. It was absolutely inadequate at the time of the project preparation. Institutional coverage, meaningful content, and elementary experience was missing. The submitted project application was intended to change that status. With the implementation of the project, we have achieved a significant improvement by building two official functional partnerships, a number of informal contacts between the citizens as well as representatives of cultural, public and entrepreneurial subjects. These are prerequisites for the use of existing human resources, natural values and the economic potential of both regions. Involvement of entities in official partnerships (number 12). Organization of initiatives aimed at better cooperation within two conferences (number 2) and ensuring people's participation in activities organized within the project (number 200). Construction of a full-function amphitheater (including social facilities) with a total usable area of 217.41 m2. and a capacity of 200 people. Organizing two conferences, two cultural events and six cultural and sports events attended by 200 participants. Conclusion of 1 Agreement of future cooperation between project partners and one Agreement between school facilities. The conferences included activities to address regional employment problems. Purchase of seven technical devices.
