Summary of project results

"1 Decembrie 1918" University from Alba Iulia is aiming at constantly increasing the quality of teaching and research activities and, in line with its strategies, the exchange of academic staff and researchers through the inter-institutional agreements with partners all over Europe, and in the framework of SEE they have developed a strategic partnership with former Nesna University College, now Nord University. The target groups are both students and staff (Computer Science-bachelor’s and Education-master’s degree, staff for teaching and for training-incoming and outgoing in subject areas of mutual interests). The University has been able to achieve the organization of the mobility flows for students and staff alike. The University successfully organized 1 outgoing student mobility for studies, 9 outgoing student mobility for placement, 3 outgoing staff training mobility flows and 2 incoming staff training mobility flows. The project aimed at maintaining the cooperation, exchanging best practices in higher education. The experience of studying and experiencing the traineeship in Norway was an important part of the professional development of Romanian students, which have obtained excellent results. The outgoing training mobility of 3 Romanian teaching staff has led to an improvement in terms of new procedures for promoting the benefits of mobility flows. The Norwegian partner achieved a better understanding of the Romanian education system, the shared experience of training.

Summary of bilateral results

The project achieved the exchange of knowledge, interactive networking, international research projects as well as the promotion of appropriate programmes for academic staff development, including teaching/learning methodology and mobility between countries, following possible applications on secondary education. The project has been successful in the implementation and carrying out of the scheduled mobility flows. The partnership will pave the way for strengthened bilateral relations and research collaborations between the two countries at a broader level, namely in target-oriented research. “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia hopes to promote their cooperation not only in the field of mobility projects, but as well in the field of research and innovation, during the coming years.
