Summary of project results

The project was needed in order to deepen and enhance the cooperation with universities in donor countries. The results will be sustained by the continuous connections between institutions. The objective was to increase the number of mobility beneficiaries of the EEA grants and it was achieved through the three mobility activities that took place (three outgoing staff mobilities in the form of one administrative staff exchange to the University of Liechtenstein and one administrative staff and one teaching staff mobility to Bifrost University). The outcome of the project was the improvement of quality education and exchange of good practices, and the mobility project has also led the teacher representative at Bifrost University to start a research project with the host university. The outputs materialized in improvement of the teaching methods, improvement of practical skills relevant to the organization and optimization of mobility programs and in studying trends of education and scientific IT&C tools. The mobility contributed to the beneficiaries' personal and professional development and created a space for mutual learning, sharing experiences, ideas and discovering cultural aspects. The donor partnership achieved an enhanced professional connection.

Summary of bilateral results

The donor partnership achieved an enhanced professional connection between representatives of each country. As a consequence, cooperation in the long term is envisaged and common projects are more likely to be initiated. The partnership achieved increased mutual knowledge regarding the academic system of each partner, methods of teaching and evaluation, design and content of study programs, organization of various administrative units and allocation of tasks for various professional roles.
