The mobility at the Norwegian higher education institutions (HEIs) will contribute to strengthening international collaboration. The project output will be teaching tools based on the best practice experience. The main target group will be students and teaching staff from the tourism and information literacy domains. The Norwegian donor partners are the University of Adger (UA) and the University of Bergen (UIB). At UA courses will be taught by the Romanian participant, and professional discussions between academic specialists will be organized. A teaching tool will be developed and published in partnership between TUBv and UIB. The project also envisages an exchange of knowledge and experience between the teaching staff and students. The new contacts will allow future cooperation, with possible contribution to new educational or research projects.

The main objective of the mobility was the development of learning materials and a broadening of the didactical offe at the beneficiary university, as well as further development of collaboration possibilities. The beneficiaries were students and staff from partner universities. The project enabled five outgoing mobilities from Romania (three administrative staff for training and two teachers) to travel to the Norwegian partner universities. The main outcome of the mobility to the University of Bergen (UIB) was harmonization of teaching in the field of Information Literacy specialization. The proposed objective was reached and a joint product was delivered: "Guidelines in Teaching Information Literacy". In addition, the partnership with UIB led to the introduciton of new chapters in the Information Literacy course at bachelor level and the introduction of a new master level course in the field of Medicine. The mobility to the University of Adger (UA) provided contribution to teaching program and materials. The improved teaching materials developed during the mobility to UA were delivered to the students from the Business Administration as new course modules. The staff from UIB and UA participated in the mobility activities, contributing to the development of teaching materials and curricula.

Summary of bilateral results

With regards to the University of Bergen, the mobility aimed to develop teaching methodology for Information Literacy for PhD. students. Thus, the sharing of expertise between the beneficiary and donor universities was combined with joint action of developing a Guide in Teaching Information Literacy. The results of all mobility results will be sustained by their dissemination in other joint projects and by organizing meetings to support further collaboration. The collaboration enabled two different organizational cultures to meet so as to harmonize their practices and learn from each other, raising the quality level of teaching. The mobility to the University of Agder sought to strengthen relations between the departments and faculties at the beneficiary and donor universities as well as lay the foundation for future cooperation projects.
