Description

The proposed project promotes Romanian literature in the Republic of Moldova, in Basarabeasca County. The objectives of the project are: increasing the mobility of two authors and their works by allowing them to attend literary events in the Republic of Moldova; promoting the literary works of the two authors by organizing public lectures and public debates in Basarabeasca County; promoting cross-border cultural dialogue by inviting a Romanian author and a representative author for one of the ethnic minorities from Basarabeasca County to meet; promoting cultural diversity by presenting a work of Romanian literature and a work of the literature belonging to one of the ethnic minorities from Basarabeasca County; and ensuring public access to literature and encouraging the participation of ethnic minorities at the public lectures and debates. The project's target groups are Romanian authors, Ukrainian authors and a general audience.

Summary of project results

NOT APPLICABLE The PP gave up to the project implementation, because their project represent the extension in Basarabeasca of the International Literature Festival from Iasi (FILIT Iasi) . This festival (FILIT Iasi) has been cancelled, and consequently their project has not reason anymore. The PP didn't spend any money from the awarded grant.
