Description

The project will be launched innovative new speciality at the Administration at the Faculty of Law and Administration - internal security (full-time and part-time 1 st degree studies). The objectives are among others: Preparing graduates for the practical implementation of activities related to the control of the law, to provide potential employers of highly skilled workers with practical experience. By organizing profesional training courses, provide graduates additional skills to increase their chances on the labour market. The project responds to the diagnosed need of specialists in the subjects legality performing police functions. The results will be used by the Applicant and interested users. They can also be used as an example of good practice by other institutions. The project will contribute to the improvement of internal security in its various aspects. It is not fullfield in formal collaboration.

Summary of project results

The main aim of the project was to develop competence , raise knowledge and skills of graduates seeking employment in institutions associated with control - officers and public servants. The essence of the project was to launch ‘internal security’ specialization at the faculty of administration. Students participating in the project had a choice of three education paths focused on individual areas of ensuring internal security. The project participants had the opportunity to obtain additional professional skills by participating in courses in the field of counterterrorism, people and property protection as well as training in first aid, which increased their position in the labor market and strengthened their expertise important for future employers. The project involved the organization of two conferences targeted to diagnose the operations of selected internal security aspects. The conferences were meant to analyze the legal and practical aspects of the firearm use and analysis of benefits and risks arising from the phenomenon of the privatization of police work. Conferences were attended by 150 people. The results were disseminated in scientific publications and educational information shared with participants free of charge. The following additional activities had been concluded within the project: training in first aid (68 persons), protective measures in the strategy for people protection (5 persons), survival and hostage crisis (16 persons), subversion workshops (29), methods and means of airport protection ( 12 persons), protection of large format (14 persons), control of people movement (15 persons), strategies to prevent terrorist bombings (13 persons). The following professional courses were organized: sign language (35 person), detective (19), a qualified security officer (17). Instructor courses were organized and participants attended: preparatory course for attending shoothing sports (21), shoothing sports instructor (17), survival’s instructor (14 persons). In addition, the project funded 3 study tours. The following results were achieved: - a comprehensive, innovative course degree; - 4 textbooks for students (Criminal proceedings.The dynamics of conduct; Administrative control procedures. Selected issues.; -Safety management in civil aviation; - Lexicon terminology of European and international sanitary and pharmaceutical control.) - 2 post-conference publications; - 1 informational movie.
