Summary of project results

Project “CYBERMAN – real management in virtual reality” aimed at two main goals: improving University’s competitiveness and students’ knowledge and skills. We are deeply convinced that we managed to achieve both for the project’s main beneficiaries. First of all, the program of the new specialization “Management in Virtual Enviroments” implemented within the project responded to a gap in the educational products that focus on educating students in the field of management with extended use of the internet. During specialization courses such as: Management of Virtual Teams, Information Competences in Virtual Environment, E-business – Management and Open Communities students gained professional knowledge about the cyberspace, explored it’s potential to the strategic development of the organization.. The project gave participants a great opportunity to take part in study visitis to innovative companies (Dell, CDP.PL) and in very practical and inspiring workshops (ie. Google AdWords, Facebook, Design and Experience etc.). Evaluation process proved that after completing the courses, workshops and visits students feel that their position on the labor market improved, their knowledge and skills increased. Second of all, we managed to develop KU’s internal system of quality. Not only the study visits were very informative and inspiring, but also the workshops for lecturers gave them extended knowledge on new innovative methods of teaching.
