Description

The analysis of developments of needs suggests making educational offer more attractive throughout taking part in partnership projects and support of teaching process with modern technologies including IT. The theme of the project consists of the monuments of UNESCO heritage. Its realization should bond the relationship and contacts between schools. The aim of the project is to exchange knowledge, confront the systems of education and develop IT competence. The results will be shown in a guide and internet website consisting the monuments of UNESCO heritage. It will be gained thanks to close cooperation between the schools by having conferences, seminars, mobility of the partners as well as throughout didactic aids. The roles and duties of partners is balanced in such a way that all of them are appointed to professionals. There will be a chance of using own experiences in order to solve didactic and educational problems with students of special educational needs. The relationship between the institutions in the field of school managing will be incredibly interesting as the Norway system of education is the leading one in Europe.

Summary of project results

The aim of the Project was increasing and modernizing the process of education as well as popularization of knowledge of the monuments of UNESCO heritage. Short term impact was clearly visible: development of language competence and multicultural, ICT skills, development of culture perception, development of cognitive and artistic skills and interests development. In the long-term it is expected to have positive impact on enrichment, modernization and development of the systems of education, development of UNESCO heritage interest, better international cooperation of educational institution of Poland and Norway. The outcome of the project was to exchange knowledge, confront the systems of education and develop IT competence. The project was the start for educational activities of the schools in the future as well. After the finishing the project contact between the school, pupils, principals and even families will be kept. Teachers will have opportunity to exchange their experiences, materials and inspiration concerning different subjects in a long-term process. The results of the project could be gained thanks to close cooperation between the schools by having 2 conferences, seminars, mobilities of the partners – the visits in Poland and Norway involved a total of 78 people. Realization of the project have surly increased group work skills using IT technologies. Thanks to fulfillment of all of the tasks pupils have had opportunity to use data tablets in a learning process. Combining tradition, history and culture themes within the project with modern technology was a great innovation and idea in its kind. Working on the methods and forms have had an impact for attractiveness of teaching itself, makes the educational offer wider, will be used and publicized in didactic process in the schools. Summary of bilateral results

Thanks to donor project partner, Polish pupils and teachers come across and hear some information about their system of education. Seminars and classes demonstrations for youth people were a great opportunity to get to know how to use IT technology in learning processes. It is very popular in Norway and it brings some amazing results in learning. The well running cooperation between Polish and Norwegian institutions was crucial during the process of preparing the guide book and website where the most valuable monuments in both countries are described. Thanks to this partnership some great visits to both countries, art and photography competitions, partner’s school days (in Norway and Poland) and seminars of using IT technology in learning process were organized. Constant contact and involvement of both institutions helped to activate students and improve the quality of teaching through increasing language and IT competence. The close cooperation between the schools by having conferences, seminars, mobility of the partners, as well as throughout didactic aids, had led to achieving the goals of the project, including better cooperation between the countries, enriching and developing the level of teaching-learning process and increasing the competence. The wider positive impact was based on the enrichment, modernization and development of the systems of education, development of UNESCO heritage interest and better international cooperation of educational institution of Poland and Norway. Combining tradition, history and culture themes with modern technology was innovative. This way the realization of the project has become very attractive for students, and a great challenge for them. Working on the methods and forms has had an impact for attractiveness of teaching itself, made the educational offer wider, and will be used and publicized in didactic process in the schools.
