Description

According to research and the results of surveys, 53.8% of public health specialists working in schools and more than 30% of the heads of the institutions, indicated that the main obstacle for specialists’ effective work is deficiency of working tools and measures. The main cause of this situation is lack of financing. Working in not fully equipped/insecure/aesthetically unappealing healthcare rooms without even the basic measures/tools necessary to health care services, specialists cannot properly perform their functions. Because of the absence of appropriate health care services, children and young people are exposed to a variety of health problems. In order to improve health of children and youth through promotion of healthy lifestyle it is crucial to improve provision of health care services and working conditions of health care specialists by arranging health care rooms; providing necessary furniture, materials and tools. Health care rooms will be equipped with new environment-friendly furniture and other measures/tools which meet all hygiene requirements. Specialists will work with visitors in a healthier, safer and aesthetically attractive environment.
