The objective of the project is to strengthen the quality of social services and the availability of families at social risk to integrate into the society for better life. The main goal of the project is to create the children's day care center in unused premises on the ground floor and in the basement of Rukla J.Stanislauskas primary school. These premises must be renovated to adapt them to activities dealing with children from families at social risk. There is a need for special tools and equipment for this activity. Specialists will be employed to help children and their parents enhance their social integration and solve psychological problems. The premises will be equipped with a sports, games and recreation area as well. This project will improve the integration of children and parents from families at social risk and the availability of psychological facilities in Rukla. It will organize a variety of events, for example, the project, seminars, trainings, such as waste sorting, road safety courses, brain battles, contests, tours, events, concerts and other activities for the children's day center to become attractive.
Summary of project results
The project sought to strengthen the quality of social services for families at social risk and to initiate integration of those families to society. During the implementation of the project children's day care center was established in Rukla J.Stanislauskas primary school. The premises of children's day care center were adapted for children from families at social risk, the equipment for sport activities different games for recreation were purchased. Specialists were employed to help children and their parents enhance their social integration and solve psychological problems. This project increased availability of psychological services for children and parents from families at social risk in Rukla and provided place for children to spend their time after school. During the implementation of the project variety of events was organized to in order to attract children to participate in activities of children's day center, for example, seminars, trainings, such as waste sorting, road safety courses, contests, tours, concerts and other activities.
