Description
The fundamental objective of the project is the facilitation of understanding, dialogue and cooperation between Roma and non-Roma ethnic groups through the implementation of cultural activities, primarily in the disadvantaged micro-regions of Hungary. Additional objective is to strengthen the depth of the Roma – non-Roma intercultural dialogue, and to realise it as widely as possible. Therefore, the project is implemented in cooperation between a Roma and a non-Roma organisation, as the partnership of 'Amenca –Velünk Európába Szervezet – Amenca - with us to Europe Organisation' (Roma minority organisation, project coordinator), and Kertész László Hajdúsági Irodalmi Kör Közhasznú Egyesület – Kertész László Literary Club from Hajdúság, Public Association. As other partners, the Hungarian Writers’ Association, the Kossuth Lajos Community Centre and Library, the Püspökladány educational district of KLIK which is the maintainer of 9 primary schools, the local government of the Roma minority in Földes and the Galenos Foundation also join the programme. The priorities of the project (establishment of cultural products; cultural events (e.g. presentations, exhibitions, informal learning opportunities, development and application of informal experience and knowledge transfer methods) are to be implemented in the scope of 3 sub-projects and 19 modules in a complex system, during 9 months. Creation of synergy with the relevant action plans and the „Roma integration principles of validation" is crucial: a separate working group is operated for the implementation of these tasks. The Amenca –Velünk Európába Szervezet as project coordinator has a key role in the facilitation of Roma social integration at the location of the project implementation in Nagyrábé, as well as in the Püspökladány district and also on a national level.
Summary of project results

Cultural Products resulting from project implementation: 1. Production of a colourful publication in the spirit of Roma an non-Roma cultural dialogue in 500 copies 2. Production of a 40-minute film about Roma literature 3. Publication of an anthology of the love-poems of contemporary Roma and non-Roma poets in Hungarian language 4. Publication of an anthology of the love-poems of contemporary Roma and non-Roma poets in English 5. Musical CD-ROM of the love-poems of contemporary Roma and non-Roma poets 6. Nationwide photo-competition of secondary school students 39 capacity building activities involving 28 professionals reached about 816 people.
